We thought it was rather straightforward to build a GBE Points Calculator. Trust us, it’s not.
- Domestic and continental performance is calculated in minutes (including stoppage time, we took extra care to account for that), but international performance is calculated in appearances;
- The timeframe for different paragraphs can be set for 24 months, 12 months or last season;
We took care of calculating all this so you won’t have to.
Proactive league scouting
Did you know Second Bundesliga has only 15 players over the threshold of 15 points, while Russian Premier League has over a hundred?
The clubs have to be proactive to look into new markets and see who is available. Catenaccio AI provides the way to quickly glance in an unknown league and see the players who are out there.
Virtual bands
Is there life outside the five bands? Turns out it is.
A lot of youth players that are still playing for U21 or B squads of major teams are available to be transferred to Britain. There are also a few venerable internationals outside the top five bands.
Injuries support
In the paragraphs for domestic minutes, continental minutes and international appearances the percentages should be calculated only for the time where the player was available for selection, which means not being injured or suspended.
Catenaccio AI is the first provider to calculate GBE points fully supporting this rule.
Weighted minutes
If the player has played for two (or more) different clubs or has been a free agent during the last 12 months, the points given for Domestic and Continental minutes should be calculated as a weighted average for the player's minutes in every one of the clubs he played for.
